Alpha Course
Every
Thursday / Time: 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
from January 17th thru April 3rd / 2008, with supper, video, and a 30-minute
discussion about the fundamentals of Christianity. Open to everyone at no charge. Includes

The Alpha Course is a quick and practical introduction to the
foundations of the Christian
faith. Each
evening begins with a meal at
7:30 p.m. and includes a short video followed by discussion in small groups.

THE THREE
ESSENTIALS
OF INSTE
1.
Daily individual study...
With the help of the Bible and the self-study INSTE book, each
student devotes one hour a day to Bible-study and prayer, 5
days a week.
2.
Small group sharing...
A group of 5 to 10 students meets with the leader once a week
for 2 hours:
 To reflect together upon the ideas studied during the previous
week,
To help one another to put into practice, on a daily basis,
what has been learned.
3.
Group leaders...
Active members of Cornerstone
take part in a seminar
offered by INSTE in order to be trained to lead INSTE
groups.

Each believer is called to active service for God, both in the
church and in the
community. The
ministry of spiritual gifts is the calling of each disciple in the
body of Christ.

TRAINING
FOR SERVICE

This course is aimed at transformation, not simply the
acquisition of
knowledge. It
consists of 4
semesters.
1.
Discipleship training…
gives students a fundamental understanding of what it means to
walk with God.
Even those who have been Christians for some time are
surprised by all the new things they learn about the subjects
studied, such as: methods of Bible-study, prayer, witnessing,
relationships with others, etc.
2.
Basic doctrine…
guides students in the knowledge of biblical
doctrine . It
stresses not only knowledge, but also the importance of
putting that knowledge into practice daily.
3.The Old Testament and the New
Testament…
Provide a solid, biblical foundation for
understanding, teaching and living the Word of God.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING

These lessons
are for those who
are called to take up
positions of
leadership within the church
Conditions for undertaking this course :
Talk with an
elder or your INSTE coordinator.
Fill in an enrolment form and give it, together with the
enrolment fee, to the coordinator.

because the program is based on the structure of the local church. The student may study at home, which greatly
reduces the cost of the course.
